Burger King Introduced 4 Spicy New Items, But There's a Catch

This year, fast-food businesses have added spice to their menus, such as McDonald's Cheesy Jalapeño Bacon Quarter Pounder and Wendy's Ghost Pepper Ranch Chicken Sandwich.

Burger King is the latest brand to add spice with numerous new selections. Unfortunately, American Burger King lovers can only get these new products in Canada.

Burger King's new Canadian menu features four jalapeño-themed items: a Whopper, Crispy Chicken Sandwich, Spicy Chicken Sandwich, and Chicken Wrap. Customers in the US can only hope that Burger King's new menu items are successful enough in Canada to introduce them to the US.

Canadian clients should anticipate the jalapeño to be present on various levels in the new hot selections. The Jalapeño Whopper has Burger King's Whopper burger, jalapeño cheese, slices, and a creamy sauce.

The Jalapeño Crispy Chicken Sandwich combines seasoned, breaded white flesh chicken fillet, jalapeño cheese, slices, and a creamy sauce. The Spicy Jalapeño Crispy Chicken Sandwich is similar but substitutes a spicy chicken fillet.

The Jalapeño Chicken Wrap includes a soft tortilla, seasoned chicken fillet, tomato, lettuce, jalapeños, and creamy sauce.

There are no suggested pricing for the new goods. Toronto Burger King sells the new Whopper for $8.99, two chicken sandwiches for $7.99, and the wrap for $2.99. Customers should verify with their local Canadian Burger King for prices.

Burger King's new jalapeño menu item is one of several new fast-food alternatives offered in Canada in 2023, but not in the US. Burger King Canada introduced sausage, bacon, and egg and cheese Breakfast Wraps this week.

Last week, McDonald's introduced the Mighty McMuffin and Mighty McGriddle to Canada alone. The Mighty McMuffin has a toasted English muffin, double hickory-smoked bacon, a freshly cracked Canada Grade A egg, processed cheddar cheese, and a sausage patty.
